Ah, sci-fi doing Westerns. The sort of thing I feel like I shouldn't like given the whole 'Western' aspect but, actually, The Gunfighters, Gunmen of the Apocalypse, Back To The Future 3, Spectre of the Gun: smashing. Not A Fistful of Datas though. That's shit.

OMG DOCTOR WHO OMG OMG OMG. I spent that whole episode trying my best not to squee, which I haven't done for a while because I have dignity, dammit, but basically there was about a thing a minute where I wanted to wave my hands and go "OMGOMG LOVE."

So, yeah, I liked it.

I'm Highly Dubious of any TV's Top Fifty Sci-Fi Characters list where the sole entry from Babylon 5 is Sheridan, and the sole entry from Farscape is Crichton. I like these characters, but by gum, they are not fabulous genre-defining creations. I like this, for I like Monopoly, despite, y'know, capitalism for fun and I'm not sure the Doctor would really approve, but shouldn't Park Lane be The Three Doctors? All the other squares are named after stories and collected together by monster/villain. And I'm *fairly* sure the picture on Survival is a publicity still from Planet of Fire ( Read more... )
